There are only TWO types of advertising!

Advertising can be as confusing as it is expensive.  Depending on your genre of business, you have the Yellow Page people tell you one thing, and radio and television telling you something else.  Then when you're totally confused, in walks the Billboard guy, followed by your local Newspaper gal.  Next week the "Junk Mail" appointment setter wants you to schedule an appointment.  Yes, they all have graphs and testimonials of satisfied advertisers.  You know that you need to promote your business....but where?  You might have experimented in the past to see what "works" for you.  If it works, GREAT!  But if it doesn't, you just LOST a great deal of operating capital, right?  And even if it worked for you, chances are you have to do the same advertising over, and over again ad infinitum....

Well, we're here to set the record straight!  Regardless what you may have been told in the past, in reality there are only two types of advertising.   Here they are:

"BROADCAST" or "NON-DIRECTIVE" ADVERTISING

  "DIRECTIVE" ADVERTISING

Here the customer is CONFRONTED by your ad without actively looking for you.  Examples are; radio, television, magazines, billboards, newspapers, "spam", junk mail and more...

Question:  When you're walking down the street with your spouse and you get confronted by a "pan handler", how do you react?

Here the customer is actually LOOKING for you.  There are really only two types in this category; the Yellow Pages, and the....

INTERNET!

Now who do you think would be an easier customer for you to sell your products or services to?  Obviously the latter!  But there are some problems associated even with this method of advertising.........Click "Continue" to find out what they are!
